Hi everyone, i'm new here and this is my first attempt of full procedural shader i created with Vray, i used only one bitmap of dirt but im willing to recreate it inside max. Here is my workflow, now i need to work on the coat material
What a fun challenge. This is my first WIP render. Made entirely with PRM proceduals. (It's certainly not efficient for rendering, but I am just trying to get myself familiar with Renderman and Katana.)
Hello everyone! Look at please on my variant of shader for - Red Grape There is two different values of sss for one material Thanks ) 3dsMAX+coronarenderer 1.7
I really like the idea of shading challenge so I found a bit of spare time to create my version of that shader. Not 100% match to the reference but quite easy to generate variations. Fully procedural. 3ds Max + V-Ray RT GPU.
I've recorded most of the shading as well. Maybe someone will find it useful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRfjnBvjII8
My first attempt at Arnold for Cinema 4D. Absolute noob when it comes to node materials. Gotta start somewhere though I guess. I guess this is a WIP.
Hey Guys, I had a bit of sparetime and tried out what I could achieve going fully procedural in 3ds Max and Vray. There are still a few things I want to fix, I hope that I will find some more time until the challenge is over. Would love to hear your opinion on it. Cheers, Kevin
Here is my second WIP, i worked more on the pattern, and the albedo, the dirt is not good tho, i need to work more on the masks. Done with 3DS Max et Vray
Well, here is my entry to this challenge, i did my best to be close to the reference image, hope you like it. Fully procedural. 3ds Max + V-Ray RT GPU. Final Entry
Hello everyone , here is my challenge, i did my best to be close to the reference image, but I'm not very satisfied for this Fully procedural. Cinema 4D + V-Ray
The image below edit with Photoshop , i added level, hue , sharpen .
My first WiP, fully procedural. Made in C4DtoA.
Another version Fully procedural. Cinema 4d for texture , 3D max + V-Ray
Here's what I got, It's not fully procedural(around 20% handpainted) because I couldn't get the little unique accidents here and there.
3ds max + Arnold 5
Hi there ! Here is what i've done for the challenge of this month. It was done completly procedural using Arnold 5 in Maya. Raw render : Then with a bit of comp in Nuke : And another version with a rim light just to match a bit more to the lighting : Just to explain how I did it for the curious ones, I just use simple nodes and all the time the same, which were the noise, the ai_composite, the ai_shader_mix, and the ramp. With only those 4 nodes I was able to create all kind of mask for my different layers of shaders. Unfortunatly I didn't use Substance or Mari, so I don't have all the nice details (it's a shame...), contrary to @robert-pashayan ! @robert-pashayan, you just did a great work, congratulation !
Hi guys, here is my participation ! Mostly procedural, but some textures for color and SSS. Made with Arnold and Maya.
This is my final entry: Blender and Cycles render engine. 100% procedural textures.
